Roy Edward Auld, 67, passed away on September 7, 2020 in Middleburg, FL. He was born in Washington, PA and was a member of The Rock Bible Church. Mr. Auld was a US Navy Veteran and retired from the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Communications after 32 years of dedicated service. He was predeceased by his father, Roy Auld and brother, Tom Auld. Roy is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Debra J. Auld; mother, Alice Auld; 3 sons: Shawn (Vanessa) Youschak, Christopher Auld and Ryan (Christie) Auld; brother, Mike (Sherry) Auld; sister, Donna Lukich; and 4 grandchildren: Mikayla, Myla, Kaitlyn and Levi. Charles E. Bezusko Jr.
62, of Atlasburg, passed away Sunday morning, April 12, 2015, in UPMC-Shadyside hospital, Pittsburgh, after a lengthy illness.
He was born March 16, 1953, the oldest son of the late Vera Boni Bezusko and Charles E. Bezusko Sr.
A 1971 graduate of Fort Cherry High School, he retired from the maintenance department of Fort Cherry School District.
Mr. Bezusko enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking, especially making Christmas ornaments for his family.
Surviving are two daughters, Stacey Mayle and husband David and Jessica Bezusko; a stepdaughter, Lauren Paulett and husband Ross; two grandchildren, Genevieve and Gavin Mayle; a stepgranddaughter, Avary Paullet; two brothers, Robert E. Bezusko and wife Nancy and Jeffrey A. Bezusko Sr. and wife Lisa; a niece, Nikki Bezusko; a nephew, Jeffrey A. Bezusko Jr.; and his former wife and mother of his daughters, Pamela J. Nafziger.
Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m., the time of a memorial service, Tuesday, April 14, in Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown.

James M. "Spanky" Cimarolli
62, recently of Uhrichsville, Ohio, formerly of McDonald and Carnegie, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 19, 2014, while surrounded by his loving family in Aultman Hospital, Canton, Ohio, after an 18-month battle with cancer.
He was born July 26, 1952, in Canonsburg, a son of Jim and Mary Lou Cooper Cimarolli of Uhrichsville.
A 1971 graduate of Fort Cherry High School, he spent most of his life in McDonald and Carnegie. For many years, he was employed by Interform Solutions in Bridgeville.
Mr. Cimarolli was a life member of McDonald Volunteer Fire Department. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and was proud to have attended their first four Super Bowls. He also enjoyed traveling, especially his trips to Europe, where he toured Sweden and Germany. While living in Uhrichsville, he was a member of Uhrichsville First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a sister and brother-in-law, Amy Cimarolli and Keith Willoughby of Dennison, Ohio; niece Kaylee Willoughby of Dennison; godson Leland James Sutter of Carnegie; aunts and uncles June Gurnish of Akron, Ohio, Barb Cimarolli of McDonald, Gene and Sylvia Cimarolli of Venice, Darlene Cimarolli of Safety Harbor, Fla., and Jesse and Brenda Flickinger of Shippensburg; and numerous cousins and dear friends.
Deceased are his grandparents, Graham and Violet Cooper and Leo and Agnes Cimarolli, as well as many other family members.
In keeping with his wishes, he was cremated without a public visitation. Private family services are planned for a later date.

Bonnie Lou Donaldson Sowinski
59, of McDonald, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at her home.
She was born April 23, 1953 in Kentucky, a daughter of the late Andrew and Donna (Haines) Donaldson.
Ms. Sowinski was a loving and devoted mother and a loyal friend.  She was always active volunteering and helping people.
She was a member of Robinson Presbyterian Church, Bulger where she had served as an Elder, Deacon and Choir Member.  She also was a member and officer of the Pennsylvania Grange, Bulger.
Surviving are two daughters, Maxine A. Sowinski of New Brunswick, NJ and Mary Jane Sowinski of Oakdale; two sons, Robert C. Sowinski of Canonsburg and John David (Kaity) Sowinski of McDonald;  three sisters, Betty (Ken) Cox of Parish, FL, Donna Donaldson of McDonald and Karen Donaldson of Slovan; four brothers, Dennis (Bunny) Donaldson of Oakdale, Jerry (Sis) Donaldson of McDonald, James Donaldson of Joffre and Timothy (Theresa) Donaldson of Bulger; a granddaughter, Ava M. Sowinski; many nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a brother, Samuel (Betty) Donaldon.

Patricia Louise “Patty” Hoag, 58, of McDonald, died Monday, February 6, 2012 at St. Clair
Memorial Hospital, Mt. Lebanon.
She was born December 11, 1953 in Washington, the daughter of the late William Robert and Patricia (Kenneweg) Hampson.
Mrs. Hoag enjoyed puzzles and crocheting, but the focus of her life was her family and grandsons.
Surviving are her husband, David Hoag of McDonald; a daughter, Melanie L. Hoag of McDonald; two sisters, Valarie Kristyak of Bristolville, OH and Joyce Hill of McDonald; and two grandsons, Nathan and Joshua Schultz.

Beverly J. Hixenbaugh Liggitt
63, of Waynesburg, died at 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2016, in WVU-Ruby Memorial hospital, Morgantown, W.Va., after being in failing health since 2009. She was born February 17, 1953, in Washington, a daughter of the late Thomas Leeroy and Sara Elizabeth Tuttle Hixenbaugh. Mrs. Liggitt had resided in the Nobelstown area prior to moving to Greene County in 1992. She attended Allegheny Wesleyan Church as long as her health permitted. She was a 1971 graduate of Fort Cherry High School and attended Penn State University, earning her certification in agricultural management and quality beef control. Mrs. Liggitt enjoyed horses and raising flowers, and was an accomplished baker of cakes and pies, and was a former Hershey Cake contest winner. She was last employed as a nightwatchman and custodian for the former Russell Industries in Oakdale for approximately five years prior to retiring in 1989. On March 11, 1972, she married George Louis Liggitt, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Clarissa, wife of Todd Phillips of Waynesburg; two sons, Matthew Liggitt, companion of Jessica Sezawich of Vestaburg, and Brock, husband of Jennifer Liggitt of Uniontown; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Liggitt was the last of her immediate family. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in Rush Funeral Home Inc., Rogersville, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, with Pastor Ricky Croyle officiating. Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Rogersville.

Sharon Holmes Campbell
66, of Bulger, died Sunday, November 10, 2019.
She was born August 19, 1953 in Washington; a daughter of the late Fred and Gloria (Hancock) Holmes.
Mrs. Campbell was a graduate of Fort Cherry High School. She was a team leader for Giant Eagle in the floral department in Kennedy and Robinson Township for 20 years.
Sharon loved the beach and spending time with her grandchildren.
On October 7, 1972, she married Ralph Edwin Campbell Jr. who died, June 30, 2000.
Surviving are a son, Brant (Missy) Campbell of McDonald; a daughter, Angela Shaffer of McDonald; a brother, Gordon (Suzan) Holmes of Southview; a half-sister, Laverne (Harvey) Kemmerer; a half-brother, Fred (Gerry) Holmes Jr; four grandchildren, Matthew and Brianne Shaffer, Allie and Makenzie Campbell; many nieces and nephews; and a companion Ed Diettrich
Deceased is a half-brother, Robert Holmes.

Janet Kennedy Carter
Major (Ret.), U.S. Army, 67 years of age, of Sun City West, AZ, went to Heaven Sunday, February 7, 2021, at the Banner Boswell Medical Center in Sun City, AZ, after her battle with leukemia.
She was born April 11, 1953, in Hickory, PA, a daughter of the late Ralph Harold Kennedy and Clara Belle (Clemens) Goughenour.
Janet graduated from Fort Cherry H.S. in McDonald, PA in 1971. After serving four years in the United States Air Force, she used her G.I. Bill to attend the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology where she earned a B.S. in Nursing. She was commissioned in the U.S. Army and continued to serve until 1999 when she retired as a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard.
Janet married her loving husband, Jeffrey Carter, Sergeant First Class (Ret.), U.S. Army, 69 years of age. They were married in Canonsburg, PA on March 27, 1999. They moved to Phoenix, AZ, in 2001, where they have lived until now.
Janet was a wonderful Lady who enjoyed writing poetry, creating art works, crafts, music, dancing and travelling. She was a dear friend to many and will be sorely missed. She was a proud veteran who served her country honorably.
Her father Ralph Harold Kennedy, stepfather Burl Goughenour, sister Pat Rodgers, brother Gary Kennedy, sister Clara Jane Goughenour and sister-in-law Phyllis Carter are deceased. Surviving, in addition to her husband Jeffrey are her mother Clara Belle “Pooch” Goughenour, daughter Heather Noel Mullen, sisters Nancy McElhaney and her husband Ken “Bubby” McElhaney, Peggy Andrews, Amy Bongiorni and her husband Mike, and brother-in-law George Carter. Janet is also survived by her grandson Joey Stermer, nieces and nephews John, Mike, Kasie, Sam, Cara, Adam, Brittney, Geno, and Dillon and many cousins.
She is also survived by Jeffrey’s daughter Christina Louise Louk and grandchildren Nathan Louk, Ella, Anja and Jeffrey Dessify.
A Wake will be held for Janet at a later date.

Donna Jean Miller Hradil
66, of Bulger, died Saturday, November 23, 2019.
She was born July 2, 1953 in Washington; a daughter of the late Jim and Lucille (McCalmont) Miller.
Donna was a graduate of Fort Cherry High School class of 1971. She received her Associates Degree from the University of California.
Mrs. Hradil was a Land Tech for several natural gas companies.
Donna was a member of Hickory United Presbyterian Church E.P.C. and the McDonald V.F.W. Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
On November 18, 1972, she married Joe Hradil, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Shelly (Brian) Schmidt of Bulger and Amanda (Dearl White Jr.) Hradil  of McDonald; three sisters, Sharon (the late Grant) Stauffer of Aliquippa, Patty (Ron) Slaney of South Park, and Jamie (the late Calvin) Torboli of Hickory; two granddaughters, Haley and Ashley Schmidt.
Family will receive friends Monday, November 25, 2019 from 2-8 p.m. at Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald; where services will take place Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt Prospect Cemetery, Hickory.

Age 60, of Cecil Twp., went to direct the choirs of angels in heaven on January 7, 2014, following a hard fought battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Christine (Knupp) Mumper, loving father of Christopher (Currie) Mumper, brother of Richard Mumper and Linda (Ken) Bozic and best friend of Kenton Klink. Denny was a 1971 graduate of Fort Cherry High School and a 1975 graduate of Westminster College. He served as the Director of Music Ministries at Canonsburg U.P. Church for 31 years. He was employed at Siemens Building Technologies in Bridgeville, where he was the Service Operations Manager. Friends received Thursday, 6-8 PM and Friday, 2-4 and 6-8 PM, in the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333). She was born, May 11, 1953, in Mt. Pleasant Township, a daughter of the late James A. and Marie Phillips.
She worked as a laborer for St. Mortz cleaning company and previously at Brockway Glass. She also worked at Mellon and Citizens Banks.
Surviving are a son, Patrick Pabian of Muse; three brothers, Vincent (Ruth) Phillips of Canonsburg, Louis and Jim Phillips, both of Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Marie Phillips of Washington; a sister-in-law, Jeane Phillips of Hickory; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Richard Phillips.
There will be no visitation and a private burial.

Age 65 of Staunton, IL, died Saturday, May 18, 2019, at his residence. He was born on October 30, 1953, in McDonald, PA, the son of Edwin and Dorothy (nee Swank) Wannamaker. On September 29, 2017, he married Joann M. Cartwright who survives. He attended Immanuel United Church of Christ in Hamel, IL. Kenny was born in Pennsylvania and after high school graduation, he joined the US Navy during Vietnam. When he returned home, he started driving a truck (over the road) and retired after 40 years of driving. Kenny was a "jack of all trades" and loved helping people with projects, be it mechanical or building things.
 
Survivors include: Wife - Joann M. Wannamaker, nee Cartwright , Staunton, IL Step Son - Gary L. (Jessica) Otto, Litchfield, IL Step Son - Charles R. (Dana) Otto, Staunton, IL Step Son - Edward E.
